Here in this place the new light is streaming;
now is the darkness vanished away;
See in this space our fears and our dreamings
brought here to you in the light of this day.

Confession
Loving God, you welcome all who are curious about you. You invite yourself in where we might hesitate or judge. We confess that we are not eager to receive those who have wronged us or those we perceive as working against us. Forgive us when we doubt your work in others’ lives or give up hope on opportunities for change and reconciliation. Help us accept others just as they are and choose to move toward one another with our words and actions. Open our minds and hearts to be the loving children you have called us to be. Amen.

Will you let me be your servant, let me be as Christ to you?
Pray that I may have the grace to let you be my servant too.
We are pilgrims on a journey; we’re together on the road.
We are here to help each other walk the mile and bear the load.
I will hold the Christ-light for you in the nighttime of your fear.
I will hold my hand out to you, speak the peace you long to hear.
I will weep when you are weeping; when you laugh I’ll laugh with you.
I will share your joy and sorrow till we’ve seen this journey through.
