Gracious and forgiving God, we confess that we all too often aren't the kind and loving people you call us to be: people the world, our friends and our neighbors need us to be. Forgive us for our unkind thoughts, words and actions. Give us a generous measure of your help that we may be kind persons who advance the work and coming of your kingdom. Amen.
