Good Friday/Easter Cantata

The Manito Choir is busily preparing the Good Friday/Easter cantata "Love So Amazing" by composer Lani Smith. According to the publisher, "the theme of this work is found in the title, taken from Isaac Watts' final phrase, 'love so amazing, so divine, demands my soul, my life, my all.'"

The Manito Choir will present five movements of "Love So Amazing" during our Good Friday worship service on Friday, April 18 at 7:30 p.m. The choir will present the sixth and final movement, "O Sons and Daughters of the King"' on Easter Sunday, April 20, during our 10:30 a.m. worship service.

Welcome!

Manito Presbyterian Church is a mid-sized, multi-generational, neighborhood- oriented congregation of the Presbyterian Church (USA).

Relationships are most important for us; our relationship with God, as well as our relationships with one another.
  • We aim to be a healthy, welcoming, authentic congregation where relationships grow to reflect the teachings of Jesus Christ.
  • We gather to explore God deeply through informed and lively preaching, as well as joyful and artistic worship.
  • We are committed to the healing work of the Holy Spirit at home, at work, in our city, and throughout the world.

We are a congregation that focuses more on people than programs, more on honest questions than dogmatic answers, and more on active engagement than passive spectatorship.
